- You can block anyone, at any time. They are not told.
- Kahf is for ages 13 and up.
These terms are an agreement between you and Kahf. You agree to them when you tick the box at sign-up, or tap I agree on the Terms of Use screen in the app. If you do not agree, do not use Kahf. Together with the privacy policy, they apply to the Kahf apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and to the web app at app.kahf.online.
1. Who can use Kahf
You must be at least 13 years old. Members aged 13 to 17 also make the declaration for members aged 13 to 17 when they sign up. One person, one account: do not share your account or sign up as someone else.
2. Zero tolerance
Kahf does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post, send, share or call with:
- indecent, explicit or pornographic content, or anything that exploits or endangers a child;
- hateful content, or content that attacks people for their religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or disability;
- threats, violence or content that encourages it, or self-harm encouragement;
- harassment, bullying, intimidation or repeated unwanted contact;
- spam, scams, impersonation, or content that is illegal where you live.
Kahf filters offensive language in messages and checks shared photos, videos and files. A filter does not catch everything, which is why reports matter.
3. Reporting and blocking
Report: press and hold a message, or tap a person's name, and choose Report. Say what is wrong. The person you report is not told.
Block: choose Block in the same places. Their messages disappear from your chats at once, they cannot call you, and they are not told. Kahf's safety team is told about the block, and about the message you blocked them from, so it can look into it. You can unblock people in Profile → Blocked people.
4. What Kahf does
Kahf reviews every report and every block within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and the account of the person who posted it is closed. Kahf may also remove content or close an account without a report when it breaks these terms. Reports of a child at risk are handled first, and child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
5. Your content
What you send stays yours, and you are responsible for it. You give Kahf permission to store it and deliver it to the people you send it to, and to show it to Kahf's safety team when it is reported. You can delete your own messages within a day of sending them, and your whole account in Profile → Delete account.
6. Ending your use of Kahf
You can stop using Kahf and delete your account at any time. Kahf can close an account that breaks these terms. The privacy policy explains what is kept after an account is closed.
7. Changes and contact
Kahf may update these terms; the date at the top of this page says when they last changed. Questions about these terms: support@app.kahf.online. Something urgent about safety: use Report in the app, or write with "Safety" in the subject line.
