Declaration for members aged 13 to 17
Last updated 30 September 2026
Read this before you tick the box
- Kahf is for ages 13 and up. Members aged 13 to 17 make this short declaration when they sign up.
- It is written for you, not for lawyers. Ticking the box at sign-up means you have read it and it is true.
What you declare
I am at least 13 years old. Kahf does not allow accounts for anyone under 13.
A parent or guardian knows that I use Kahf, and they can contact Kahf about my account at privacy@app.kahf.online at any time.
I understand that adults cannot start a conversation with me, that I will not appear to adults in search, and that my age group is never shown to other members. Kahf's admins can see it, and so can a parent admin Kahf assigns if their child is in touch with me or in a group with me. Ghost mode isn't available under 18.
I will not share my home address, school, phone number or location in messages, and I will report any adult who contacts me in a way that feels wrong.
My parent or guardian can ask Kahf to show, correct or delete everything about my account. Kahf can also make a parent with a Kahf account a view-only parent admin of my account: who I am in touch with, never the messages.
For parents and guardians
Your child's age group keeps adults and under-18s apart and shows a parent admin who their child is in touch with. It is never shown to other members (Kahf's admins can see it, and so can a parent admin Kahf assigns, for the people their own child is in touch with) and cannot be changed later. An adult cannot start a direct conversation with your child, and your child does not appear to adults in search, suggestions or member discovery, except a parent admin, who sees the people their own child chats, calls and meets with, and their child's groups' members.
Kahf can also make a parent with a Kahf account a view-only parent admin: who their child is in touch with, never the messages. Only Kahf's admins can make one, and the parent must have picked 18 and over. Contact with under-18s is visible to Kahf's admins and to a parent admin Kahf assigns. A parent admin sees the people their child chats, calls and meets with and the members of their child's groups, each by name, gender and age group; when each chat started and was last active; the calls and meetings of the last 15 days; and, in their child's community groups, the language filter's alerts and the admins' log. Never message text, voice notes, photos, files or calls. See Parent admins in the privacy policy.
You can ask us what information we hold about your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete the account entirely. Write to privacy@app.kahf.online and we will act on it. If you believe your child is being contacted inappropriately, tell us at the same address; we treat these reports as urgent.
Where this comes from
Everything above follows from section 4 of the privacy policy, which also explains what Kahf asks for, what it never does with your data, and how long things are kept.
